Successful British band Girls Aloud haven’t been seen throwing their gorgeous shapes around wowing fans on stage together since late in 2009 when they announced that they were taking time-out to engage in a variety of projects.
But according to an interview given on BBC Radio 1 with Scott Mills on 2 June 2011, band member Nicola Roberts said that ‘all 5 members were up for a reunion concert to celebrate their 10th Anniversary in 2012.
And just over a week ago Cheryl Cole called for an emergency Girls Aloud meeting amid reports of a series of fall-outs and high tension running in the band.
However, despite the famous four including, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh meeting up last week a friend of the girlies said of the meeting:
“They had drinks at Kimberley’s flat in North London and then moved-on to Cheryl’s place around the corner. There was champagne and snacks. It was a mini-party. Cheryl put pizzas in the oven just like she used to do in the early days. The girls wanted to pull together following Sarah’s split from Tom Crane two weeks ago.”
Not surprising was the absence of 5th girls Aloud member Nadine Coyle who according to the pal was one of the main topics of conversation:
“They don’t want Nadine to be part of their forthcoming reunion tour. She’s cut them out in the past few years and the girls want to do it without her. They’re even talking about doing a 100-day international tour. It’s going to be massive!”
