That's only ONE opinion. Lol. I liked the second one because it starts before the first one, explains some of what happened during the first one, then ends after the first one. It's called a "parallel prequel," and it's meant to give more understanding of the storyline in the first film.
Eh I really liked the second one but it looks like they're going with the "throwing stuff around" approach a lot this time around. I guess there's only so many creepy things you can have happening in a family home.
Lol the first and second ones are not even scary at all. I watched the 2nd one in my basement alone late at night for a more "spookier" feeling, but not a single time did I feel scared. Very bland and boring. Insidious is even creepier. Anyway I'd still rent it for a buck when it comes out on DVD. *
* I liked the Bloody Mary part in the 1st trailer though.
