The booing part was indeed cringe worthy but the senator did touch some valid points, sex isn't relevant in the military.
If you're straight, you're straight, if you're gay, you're gay, you don't need to rub it in anybody's face.

I understand what the "politican" is saying.

The military and the soldiers have a job to do and the laws and the army should be fair and equal to all soldiers of all races, religions, sex and sexuality.

Special privledges SHOULDN'T be given to soldiers, who are Gay/Bi/Lesbian, purely because it wouldn't be equal and it would be more in favour to the LGB.

The politican is saying that whether your are straight, bisexual or gay/lesbian, you don't have to be so open or forward about it or MAKE A BIG DEAL OF IT and you're sexuality doesn't mean you are going to be kicked out of the army because it wouldn't be fair otherwise.

He didn't even really answer the guys question... The solider was asking if he would have to hide his sexuality in the military if that senator guy was elected. And the guy responded with "sexual activity has no place in the military"



The guy wasn't asking if he could have sex dumbass, he was just simply wanting the freedom to be open about his sexuality. And that's not asking for special treatment, that's asking for the SAME treatment as straight people.

Well yes he does have a point. But if he is going to reinstate the law it should count for the straights as well. As in nobody should talking about being with a woman or a man. And that just sounds ridiculous.. they should just leave it the way it is imho...
