Thoughts? Do you think Ke$ha is a 15-minutes artist? If so, when do you think that's going to run out? If not, what are your defenses on why you think she has longevity?

Bullseye is so shady, but they shade everyone

Ke$ha isn't a 15 minutes artist.... when was the last time she done something. isn't she touring right now?

Personally, I think she'll be considered a one-hit wonder as the "Tik Tok" girl. In fact, I think she already might have hit that point.

She's clearly not just a flash in the pan. Obviously she's not as successful as other artists, but she's established herself as a fixture in the pop music scene. By the way, I thought you disliked Ke$ha. Why do you care enough to make a thread?

I just found it as an interesting point about her in one of the most widely-read magazines. Everybody that has an interest in Pop Culture reads Entertainment Weekly, after all.

i'll be laughing when Ke$ha's more relevant next year....

I'm sure when her new single drops radio and iTunes charts will be all over her ass so... no, too soon to say that she's here to stay but def. not the "15 minutes of fame" pop star.

Even Ke$ha knows her own tea

The reason why she's not a 15-minute artist is because she's smart, she wants and knows how to create unspeakably catchy music, she's a witty and talented lyricist and has great producers surrounding her, not to mention she can pick and choose producers and artists she wants to work with. And whereas other artists are distracted with "high fashion" and directing or preaching a "message," Ke$ha is strictly focused on the music and delivering good, catchy records for the public to digest. She's going to be around for a long while, but let's let the haters dream.

Simple. She's not as irrelevant as some people on this site like to make her. While her music isn't necessarily Grade-A, she's cemented herself to Top 40, the iTunes Top 10, and college campuses across the States.

People today are like "She's not a one hit wonder, she has We R Who We R, Your Love is My Drug, Blow, etc!"

She is a modern day Tiffany. Today Tiffany is ONLY remembered for "I Think We're Alone Now" (and hardly remembered at all) despite having other successful singles as well in the 80s.

With that said, it is very foolish to wait until MAY to release music. It should be March, with a new single in time for new year's.
