Gaga doesn't play the "pretty game". She prefers to provoke people and look interesting...it's a shame people still don't get this. A woman can exist in the entertainment industry without dressing for straight men (they don't buy much pop anyway).

I've yet to be "provoked" by Gaga's fashion sense, just endlessly annoyed. I can understand fashion being an extension of your persona and creative output, but when the package doesn't match the content it becomes simply gimmicky. It doesn't shock or encourage artistic conversation + her column in V Magazine proves how little she understands the industry.

Every thing gaga wears has a meaning or a theme that ties in with her music. Her and Nicola or his assistant Anna lay out story boards and gather influences from many different places for every single thing she wears.
