News: 17-year-old kills best friend, jumps off a bridge

A short time after responding to Mavis Rd. and Hwy. 401, where the teen, identified as being 17-years-old, suffered life-threatening injuries after jumping from the bridge, police found a young woman's body in a park near Spinnaker Circle, in the area of Mavis Rd. and Courtneypark Dr. W.
Both are believed to be students at Mississauga Secondary School. Friends say the two were inseparable.
Peel Regional Police have set up a command post on Spinnaker Circle and are questioning area residents.
The coroner is also on scene to examine the body.
Cst. George Tudos said it's too early to determine whether the two incidents are related.
Both Peel police and Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded earlier today to a report of a person jumping onto Hwy. 401 at Mavis Rd.
Wadhwa was rushed to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto with critical injuries.
Subsequent investigation led police to the grisly discovery in a nearby park.
OPP shut down Hwy. 401 westbound at Hurontario St. and the Hwy. 410 southbound ramp to westbound Hwy. 401 for more than four hours.

Stay strong. My school / entire town went through something like this earlier this year. Four seniors from my high school were killed in a car crash on their way home from spring break. Its still crazy to this day.

Stay strong! My school had something similar, not a murder case, but a good chunk of my school was killed in bushfires, everyone went cray cray.

I had both victims on Facebook.
The guy left a suicide note on Facebook & in it he was the first person to say she was dead.

We all thought it only involved the male, but then around 12 people started to talk about the status & how he said the girl was dead. Police then named her a missing persons & they found her body soon after. I sat beside her cousin (my close friend) in Math class and we had a clear view of the police & the park where her body was found. Its shocking that I basically watched the police discover the body with her cousin at my side.

And our school was a wreck. It all became confirmed at the end of the day & people were screaming, crying & collapsing in the hallways. The police were taking away her close friends since they were too distraught. I talked to the girl who was murdered earlier this week, its shocking.

The subsequent investigation led police to a nearby field where the body of a female was located with obvious signs of trauma. The female, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has been identified as 17-year-old Kiranjit Nijjar of Mississauga. An autopsy is pending.
Both are believed to be students at Mississauga Secondary School. Friends say the two were inseparable.
Charges related to the death of Nijjar are pending against the 16-year-old male, who cannot be identified as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The guys Facebook suicide note has also been released. Its disturbing to say the least.
He was a victim of bullying, but unfortunately decided to take someone elses life along with his.
