Producers David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith of KatzSmith Productions have signed a two-year first look feature producing deal with Warner Bros, and one of their top upcoming projects is a sequel to the 1988 Tim Burton classic Beetlejuice!
Interestingly enough, this will NOT be a reboot/remake! Instead, this sequel is expected to continue the storyline from the original film.
A sequel is about 2 decades to late but this movie is so iconic that it can arrive 'fashionably late' and slay the box office. As long as Tim Burton & a good amount of the people who worked on the original film are in control of the movie- It'll be amazing.
If they let some new writers/directors/actors take control of everything this shall be the most disappointing thing in the history of film.
