Why do people keep wishing dead people happy birthday ?
I mean.......... WTF ??
It's totally wrong imo. You can't wish someone happy birthday when they are not alive. It feels so wrong and strange to me. I hope I'm not the only one that feels this way. You can't celebrate someone's birthday when they aren't on this earth anymore. The reason why you are wishing someone happy birthday is because you are celebrating the fact that the person got to live one more year !! So idk.
Are you serious?
SO we shouldnt say happy birthday to MJ, or marylin monroe just because their dead? Its a celebration of their lives, regardless of wheather they are living or not. Thats really close minded of you to say.
It's to celebrate their memory, but do I think some people take it too far. Like one time someone said on twitter that it was Aaliyah's 32nd birthday. How is she turning 32, when she died at 22?
I've just noticed something and that is that people who speak English say these kind of things. I know about 6 other languages and we never say "Happy Birthday" to the ones who died. We always so, "ohh today Jason would have been 30 today". But NEVER a happy birthday Jason !! I hope you ain't burning in hell.
This is just my opinion lol. I think it's rid. But I think it's a American tradion or bad habbit maybe.
