Britney to be honored at The NRJ Music Awards in France

Nikos Aliagas who Britney has met with on several occasions stated:
"There will be a tribute to a pop icon, the same person who had the VMA Vanguard Award", announced on his Twitter account, a few hours ago, who leads the NRJ Music Awards since 2009. It could also receive an honorary award for lifetime achievement.
Nikos has been involved heavily with NRJ over the years and was present when Britney performed on Star Academy.
Also, Jive has reportedly confirmed the release of the second B In The Mix - The Remixes album. It will include mixes from Blackout, Circus, Femme Fatale and several unreleased tracks.
I don't need a tribute. I just need a solid short film dedication that highlights her career achievements and how much of a global icon she is. After all of that, then they can present Britney with the award.

Exactly, it's so simple...why MTV found it so hard is beyond me. They could have shown her Break The Ice Interlude and called it a day. Although, the dance tribute was amazing in my opinion, those girls were getting it
