Agreed, and he forgot about Gaga getting drunk before giving out the award to Britney, that was a big no no.

Britney didn't seem bothered. The VMAs are all about who can get the most attention, and Gaga was winning the game (if you think she did it brilliantly or otherwise, makes no difference). If you want a proper/real tribute, this is not the show for you. The only one to blame is yourself for having these high expectations from an MTV show.

The only sensible option would be Beyonce to give the award (considering she's preggo she wouldn't be drunk).

I think it was just a bit messy; should have planned it out more.

I don't find anything GaGa said to be wrong except perhaps, her hyperbolic statement about masturbating to Britney.

Gaga acting drunk and crazy was part of Jo's character and she had to stay as Jo the entire time or it would have threw off the entire concept of her performance so she is not to blame.

Britney rehearsed that **** 100 times if she doesnt know how to speak up and say 'I WANT TO SAY A SPEECH' then ofcorse theyre gonna just let her introduce beyonce. Let them try and make anyone else introduce another person during their own tribute- if it was any other artist they would have stood up for themselves and said NO.

Then if it was found she had a fit, you'd be hear calling her ungrateful and a bitch lol.

I still don't know why people are blaming this on Gaga, tbh. If she hadn't said anything, it would have been awkward and even more of a mess. She saved that tribute.
