I'm kind of iffy about this movie, especially since Heisserer's involved. The haphazard ANOES (2010) was basically all his fault; he's the one who did the rewrites. He also rewrote The Thing prequel......

Anyway, I'll give this movie a chance. I saw John Carpenter's The Thing when I was really little, so I'm gonna have to watch it again before I see this.

It is definitely a remake, it's the same storyline as the original, lol.

I'm a bit iffy about this. "The Thing" may be one of the few horror films that I've watched that was actually pretty good and I feel this may ruin it.
