I have heard many people saying that Katy hasn't even a good voice or she lacks of talent but I found this vids today, the last time I watched them was long ago, and I think that here's the proof that she can sing, and she can sing really well!

Don't get me wrong I LOVE Katy, but she is good at ballads and that is if she can stay on tune and hit the right notes and not try to change tune or hit out of her area notes. :/ sorry hun

This thread helps us to refresh our memory on her singing ability. It's good thing I guess.

Katys problem is that she records lovely high notes in the studio that are out of her comfortable range live and it ends up sounding dreadful, she has a beautiful voice when she sings songs that are well within her range.
