Vanessa Carlton is always such a breath of fresh air, glad she isn't going the route everyone else has. She's always doing something different. I'll be buying it this week! =D

Dear California and Fairweather Friends are amazing, they need to be singles!!!!
I love Vanessa Carlton, but this album is... Well, I can't say it's a disaster because I do think it's a mature and edge album... but the tracks are so sleepy and not as contagious as the past ones. I'm sorry but I don't like it.
Just saying, this CD IS AMAZING. The sound on it is almost surreal in how lush it is, the childrens choirs sound amazing. Her own vocals are so much more mature. It's amazing! The music of course is unmatched by anything released this year so far.
