"Okay please do not get angry but it might be September for my single My calendar was messed up! I'm so sorry! BUT it might be late August! It's a huge bummer waiting but I promise it'll be worth it! Stupid technology!!"

But at least shes talking about it again. Sorry for the mixup.

I cannot..... RCA do NOT have the funding to release albums on time anymore. They can only afford to do one artist at a time. The reason Kelly isn't getting a release date is because Avril's era is still going. August WYWH video comes out, so in September Avril's era will be over as I doubt there will be a 4th single. RCA are such a messy label... Kelly better hope WYWH doesn't smash or else she will be waiting until 2012 to release

Why don't they just admit that "Let Me Down" was actually meant to be her first single all the time?

It's more like RCA doesn't have the funds to hold an album back or make artists keep recording. Actually RCA has several projects out right now. Here's their roster: http://www.rcamusicgroup.com/artists I believe right now Avril, Monica, The Strokes, Foo Fighters, Jennifer Hudson, and David Cook are still working on their eras or just started.

I know Kelly and Leona will have albums out around the same time and I believe Adam Lambert is working on a fall release too. RCA's problem isn't managing multiple eras at once. It's problem is not fully promoting an entire era for their artists. However, RCA is under new management now, so lets see if anything changes? So far, not the best start, lol.... but we'll see.

Hmm I don't know. I think Avril and Christina's situation is different than Kelly's. It seems the biggest reason for Kelly's hold up was due to the change in management at RCA & SONY. I believe at one point Kelly even tweeted a response to a fan and said something like the album's done but there's no one to turn it in to, lol. Kelly's last album was released in 2009. And she hasn't been quiet on radio. 'Already Gone" was #5 in Mediabase Top AC songs of 2010. 'Don't You Wanna Stay' is on track of being in the top 5 songs in country at the end of 2011.

Anyway, I don't think the first single is "Let Me Down" even Kelly's musical director and guitarist have hinted that LMD wasn't gonna be the first single. So...? I think they don't want to say the name of it because it may get leaked or perhaps it's a song that already leaked but hasn't gotten the attention that LMD received. I can see them holding off on the title till the last minute just to avoid any further leaks.

I don't think we have heard the song yet. Kelly being all, "Can't wait for y'all to hear it" tells me that it's a new song.

I think that too. There's a lot of songs that have yet to leak, so it's not like she's low on material. However, she may also be saying that because not EVERY fan has even heard all of the leaks, so it will be new to a lot of people. I think as stans we forget that Kelly's fan base resides outside of the little group of hardcore fans that search high and low for leaks, hehe. Plus those leaks weren't even fully mastered and done yet, so it will still sound new to us. Kind of like The Day We Fell Apart. The leak wasn't the CD version - close but not the same. I like my KC in HQ!

but i guess this is good..more than likely the album will be released in october/november, PERFECT for holiday sales...
