I didn't get the ending on why it was so intense. The camera viewed to the Craigslist ad-responder and his face looked shocked when he saw the blind man, but he already knew he was blind because he said "I'm about to get stabbed by a blind man". It would have been a better ending if he didn't know he was blind until the very end.

Yes! I realized it fairly quickly when he was staring blankly at random objects. But I wasn't completely sure until the one guy started undressing and he didn't even look at him.

I realized it was an online hookup from the start, but I just didn't understand most of what happened afterward. But it makes sense to me now. How and why would a blind person look for sex online, though? The person they meet could end up being hideous, fat, and have STDS, and they would likely never know.

The blind dude was desperate. That's why he still wanted dude to eat with him. He just wanted somebody to talk to. Just a regular date. He wasn't there for the dick. He just wanted love. That's what's so sad about it.

I knew everything from the start, just not the ending... It was an online hookup, guy arrives, host tells him to open the door (he's cooking), he smokes, host gets mad, the guy said he said he was allowed, he confessed his sister made the ad, he's cooking and not looking at him (makes you wonder why), and then when they get into a fight he says "I'm about to get stabbed by a blind man". I'm not sure if this was a mistake or not... Because it would have been easier to understand if they left that part out of the short film, it would make the ending more powerful/surprising. Because throughout the whole film, you couldn't tell he was blind (and the guy couldn't as well) because the lights were so dark, but when they finally sit together with the light, it's revealed he's blind and you could see his face, looks so haunting.
