Which celebrities are known in EVERY PLACE in the world?
I dont mean just places like Australia, Japan, USA..Blah Blahh..I mean places like Nepal, Madagascar, Mali or Kyrgyztan. Literally, Everywhere.

Maybe she could be one of them, i think it was easier for her to become really global, thanks to the digital era. IMO.

my family is from Egypt... where American pop culture is RARELY relevant.
and Gaga and MJ are the only ones. Madonna isn't even that well known there, oddly. it's probably because she was provocative and at her time Egypt was A LOT more conservative. so yea.. Michael Jackson is probably the most famous person evererererrrr....

The world wasnt the same back in the last century.
Nowadays you can know what is happening everywhere just secods after it happens, i dont think it was that easy to get into places like Ethiopia or Mongolia during the 60s.

Maybe Gaga has slayed lately in the world and everything, but you can never say she's more popular than Shakira in Egypt.
Michael Jackson and Shakira dominate that country, said by someone who lived there.
I know Gaga is well known too

hell yes Shakira is really well-known in Egypt. Gaga has just started though.
Shakira will probably stay more popular though since she does the whole belly-dancing thing.
But Gaga and Shakira probably aren't too far apart with fame, even though Gaga had headlined way more than Shakira has

I think soccer players have a better chance at this list. The most famous ones aren't relevant in america but they're still known. And in other countries, everyone knows how important soccer is

Rihanna. I'm serious. There are countries in Africa (the least musically-developed continent next to Antarctica, of course  ) that have buses with her on them and people listen to her music a lot there.
