Gaga vs. Katy is being pitted as the new Britney vs. Christina. But I see Rihanna outlasting Katy.

Ke$ha and Gaga

Gaga is selling those albums, singles, and tours like Britney was years back. Xtina was getting some single success and album success, although not on par with Britney. Ke$ha is the same, not on par with Gaga but isn't too far behind.

I don't stan for Gaga and I love Ke$ha, but Ke$has album sales do not compare

Ke$ha and GaGa, to me. They came roughly around at the same time.

GaGa is the "Britney" and is embraced by more people, and is almost entirely more successful in any area.

Ke$ha is talented (not quite at the level of Christina, I can admit, even though I prefer Ke$ha), but she is and will always be overshadowed by GaGa.

I think it's Katy and Gaga. Katy came out around the same time as Gaga (closer than Ke$ha, actually) and is overshadowed more.

Katy and Gaga. There's already beef between their fans from the Alejandro video fiasco and they are probably the two biggest pop stars in the US (worldwide Gaga basically ***** on Katy). They are polar opposites: Gaga is controversial and creative; Katy is more safe and mainstream. Gaga is not considered very attractive; Katy is considered one of the most attractive women in the world. Gaga adamantly and genuinely fights for gay rights; Katy puts out songs like Ur So Gay and then jumps on the pro-gays bandwagon when it becomes a trend.


I would say Ke$ha and Gaga, simply because beyond the trashy image Ke$ha is actually talented (as opposed to Katy), but Ke$ha has yet to sell singles and/or albums on the level that Gaga has. Things could change though.

I think that we'll have to see how both Katy/Ke$ha go with their next albums before we can really say much.

Like, if one or the other fades out, then it would be more clear that it's the other one.

I'm intrigued to see how both of them do on their next effort actually.

I can only see Katy retaining her success or success near it while Ke$ha will remain moderately successful.

(It might be that I'm biased, cause I'm not too keen on Katy).

Rihanna vs GaGa

The only reason I want to disagree with that is more that I don't think anyone remotely compares the two.

I see Rihanna more like a (no one hurt me) "Beyonce."

Always delivering those consistent albums + singles (minus a flop or two, a la "Run The World (Girls)/Rockstar 101).

Katy/Ke$ha are compared to GaGa in certain ways and certainly much more than Rihanna.

I'd say Beyonce and Rihanna.

They're both compared to each other no matter what, and for the most trivial reasons (Brit & Xtina for both being blonde pop stars, Bey & Rih for both being big black stars).

Britney and Beyonce both clearly the bigger of the two and (at the time for Brit) the more "innocent" and sweet of the pair.

Christina and Rihanna always compared, being saying they'll never match up to the other, both being the more rough/naughty version of their counterpart.

Also, both Brit and Bey don't seem too bothered with the fame (lack of twitter use, etc.), while both Christina and Rihanna are known for being two of the most shady bitches in the industry.

i dont like any but honestly best fit is katy vs gaga. i feel like the rivalry between the two is the biggest.

No one even compares to their dynamic relationship, whether they were feuding or not!



Although, Rihanna and Katy Perry are the closest thing, IMO.
