I went with Beethoven. Both are geniuses of course, but I tried to count how many of their pieces I know (and love) and I think Beethoven has the edge. Plus wasn't he deaf? that's like unreal that he could come up with all those masterpieces.

Mozart is soooo boring and basic as ****. He was arguably the better technical writer though since so many of his pieces had such perfect symmetry to them but the only noteworthy composition of his is "The Magic Flute."

Beethoven, on the other hand, was a genius. His symphonies were perfect in each their own way and his Symphony #9 usually tops lists of best symphony ever written.
