Have been bullied before, because guess what; it happens. Everything in the video happens in real life. There are a lot of things that are more severe that happen, but they are less common.
This song was written about the teen suicides that happened. Rise Against made the song to help teens (specifially the gay ones) know that everything gets better after high school, hince the addition of the It Gets Better program parts. They are giving real life facts to show that it does get better.
