I read a different one, it's from some site that also said the new PSP would be called VITA two weeks before SONY announced it this previous E3.

It said that the PS3 won't have any major changes aside from the fact that they will add some technology in the bluray drive to prevent illegal and unauthorized blu-ray discs i.e. pirated games and movies.

It also mentioned that it'll coincide with the $100 price drop.

Everybody has different tastes in consoles.

But hmm, I have a PS3 slim too, and now it's getting slimmer? I hope this new slim is glossy. The slim we have now is okay but I really preferred the glossy finish that the original had. The only downsides to that was it being a fingerprint/dust attractor, but that I could deal with.
