Pitbull may be known for getting the party started, but the Miami rapper gets serious for a moment on “Castle Made of Sand,” the DJ Frank E-produced cut from his new album Planet Pit (June 21). Mr. 305 salutes his mother while acknowledging his father’s absence on the introspective song. Kelly Rowland sings the uplifting hook and Pitbull’s artist Jamie Drastik spits a verse.
“It shows another side of me. But yet it has that big pop rhythmic feel to it,” Pitbull told EW.com. “I think that when that hits the radio, people are going to look at me in a whole different light.”
Kelly sounds AMAZING on this! She's really bringing it this time around, and I remember the naysayers here on ATRL just a few months ago... Definitely give this song a listen!

Because Pitbull talked about "when it hits radio," which means it's going to be released as a single... Hence why it deserves its own thread. You might not want it to ever be released, but thankfully it's not up to you.
Why is so much of peoples' time on ATRL spent trying to regulate everyone else's posts??? I'm guilty of the same, but sometimes it's just too much...

Don't like this that much, one of the least likeable songs on the album.

Edit: After hearing the rest of the tracks I don't see how this would be the least likable.
I can respect that it's your least favorite, but I find most of the tracks to be standard/generic Pitbull-esque tracks. Castle Made Of Sand is one of the few tracks on the album that doesn't sound like everything else.

I like it, but the demo is better for me...Kelly's voice is not "sad" enough for this song...:-)) I can actually imagine Nelly Furtado singing this and I am sure it would sound way better with her voice

He just doesn't really fit on such a song. It's nice, but I'm not really feeling it.
