Want a near death experience? Toyota can help you.
Toyota means PROBLEM. The Prius 2010 had some braking system issues, while the 2004-2009 models were subject to a recall because of floor mats that can trap the gas pedal. #Fail A Prius 2010 driver had to call 911 because he was traveling at 94 miles/hour, fortunately, everything went well.
STATEMENT
Built to last you, your children, your grandchildren and your great grandchildren.
Founded by Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937 in Japan. Toyota have provided people with a powerful line up of cars, however throughout the years we’ve had our ups and downs but you’ve stuck here by our side and that’s why we’re the world's largest automobile manufacturer by sales and production #FACT.
Cars that power failed dreams.
We were also found in Japan, but the difference is that we’ve been in the shadow of Toyota since 1948. I mean we make billions; they make trillions! We make luxury cars; they make the largest-selling luxury cars. But hey at least we’re the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer since 1959.
Ever since the Civic, Accord and CRX caught on in the US in the early '80s, Honda has been the most well-rounded popular Japanese brand. They give you the reliability and build quality of any Toyota with superior engineering and handling characteristics. Toyotas are basically rolling couches; Hondas actually have the capacity to be fun to drive.
Toyota has made fun cars in the recent past--the Celica, the Supra, the MR2. But they never managed to bake interesting driving dynamics into their mainstream cars like the Corolla and Camry. By comparison, driving a Civic or an Accord is like driving a BMW.
Also, the Toyota unintended acceleration mess was proven to be complete ******** and groupthink.
Both brands make hideous cars these days. Toyotas haven't been attractive for years... Hondas were until like 2 years ago LOL.
I have never had a Toyota or Honda, for what it's worth. But my mom has had 2 Lexuses and there have been 3 Acuras in my family... which are Toyota and Honda, respectively.
