I don't know if she'll have much luck with them . SRC/Universal Motown are horrible when it comes to promotion (Examples ; Shontelle - Impossible and Kelly Rowland - Motivation FT. Lil Wayne )

Both of those tracks are the biggest hits either of those two have had in years. Not really good examples to support what you're saying. Not to mention, Ciara is pretty different from the two.

She should definitely sign with a Universal label. But not this lessor company.

What makes her so different from them, especially Kelly ? Her singles might have charted a bit higher than one of Kelly's , but she hasn't had a recent big hit .

Is it the fact that she once had an extremely successful era and then she , instead of falling into complete obscurity, she began to become the ridicule of an excessive amount of people ?

What makes her different is Kelly Rowland and Shontelle's hits can be counted on one finger. Niether of them have seen the heights of Ciara's success, ever. And I also believe Ciara sets her self apart from the pack a lot better than they do.

I just think Ciara's head is more on her shoulders than the other two girls. The CEO of SRC agrees.

Comparing what a label has done with another artist to a completely different artist is so irrelevant to me. Jennifer Lopez just signed with Def Jam (a big label) for her new album and ended up getting nothing but disposable dance hit with disappointing album sales. They gave her little to no promotion.

It's all about how the specific artist and label work together. Not always about who's on the roster.

I agree. Capitol Records is a flop their biggest artist is Katy Perry and luckily for her she gets the major promotions and everything so hopefully Ci can benefit from that aspect.

I can only hope that Ciara is really focused and studying what decision she's about to make.
I trust her though, she's a tactful girl.

I hope Ciara becomes Universal Motown's Katy Perry, Universal Motown being Capitol Records, if you will.
