What do you think ? Timaya made some good points but on the other hand she does talk about "transgender, lesbians" in her song _ NO TEA NO SHADE
1) 10:00 - 13:05 : about the GaGa egg at the Grammy's entrance : "too extra ?"
2) 15:15 - 19:00 : about Gaga's performance at the grammys : "underwhelming?"
3) 33:40 - 39:00 : on Ricky Martin introducing GaGa, on GaGa thanking Whitney Houston, and on GaGa exploiting the gay community for her own success because it's a popular thing to do, although she ain't no gay
...she is a member of the LGBT-Community... She is bisexual - so first of all, shes speaking up for her own rights (I'd say). So the milking-thing is total ********.
1. Gaga has said countless times she hates walking the red carpet, so what's a better way to arrive at the Grammy's then being carried by hot shirtless men.
2. Gaga is Bi and has ton's of friends/fans that are gay, so she's only standing up for what she believes in.
Is she milking it? YES, but I honestly think she's genuine about it. She's standing up for something she believes in and most of her fans are gay, so it only makes sense for her to continue pushing boundaries for them.
I have to agree with this. Many pop stars have a huge gay following and they love them but they don't milk them for everything that they can like Gaga does.
I'm bisexual so being a part of the gay community I find it annoying. I'd rather not be associated with the ridiculous attention-seeking and outlandish antics of Lady Gaga. I just don't want people to think of the gay community as all being like the things she does.
What has Lady Gaga really done for the gay community besides talk?
And yes, the egg was too much. I'm a member at fashionspot.com and no one over there was impressed. I liked her first album, but nothing about her since then seems genuine. Congrats on her record breaking tour, but this act is getting old.
