Happiness singer Alexis Jordan says she won't raunch up her image anytime soon to be more successful.
The 18-year-old, who is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation, says fame won't change the person she is.
"I want to be a positive role model for young people who are sick of the raunchy pop world," Alexis revealed.
"I'm young, so I don稚 want to be too sexual. I can do the whole woman thing when I知 a woman. For now, let me smile and be fun."
The Good Girl singer also told Company magazine that she has strong morals, which includes not using bad language. "It痴 just not me. There are loads of other words in the dictionary!" she adds.
"Young artists like me are growing up in front of you. I知 not perfect, I知 only human! If I went through a hardcore break-up then of course my music is going to change and maybe I値l change a little too.
"But right now, I知 just trying to be as good as I can be, and enjoy every second of it," says Jordan.
how old is she ? it's not like she's a teenager right ?
She turned 19 last week
I agree with LeeLOUDLewis/Hi.Def though... GERL sit down with this good girl thing. She's acting like by her putting forward an innocent image that she's gonna change the world or something. We'll see how she changes for the next album....
It's fine if she doesn't want to take her clothes off, but she shouldn't make claims so soon because she may change her mind one day and then it'll come right back to quotes like these. Also, I don't see the point of making it known you are a "good girl" when it makes more sense to just let people realize that on their own by judging her actions and not her words. Just saying.
