It is one of the best songs on the album. However, in my language the part where she says "eh be my baby" kinda sounds like f*ck me baby, so I don't know how our radios will cope with that
Nicole Scherzinger attempts to fire up the UK charts once again. The former lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls recently topped the UK charts with "Don't Hold Your Breath" and produced the top-five hit "Poison" as well as her top-ten album Killer Love.
Next up, Scherzinger serves a nice slap of Island-flavoured pop in the form of "Right There." The vengeful mid-tempo was helmed by Jim Jonsin (Beyonce's "Sweet Dreams" and Nelly's "Dilemma). If the song sounds familiar, you can put that down to co-writer Ester Dean who's other credits include Island tunes for Rihanna and Britney Spears.
"Right There" has impacted on BBC Radio 1Extra's B-Playlist as of April 1, 2011. Expect it to impact on Radio 1's main playlist very soon as Scherzinger is already laying down concepts for the video and a possible remix.
