Celeb News: Lea Michele involved in a car accident

Glee star Lea Michele was involved in a minor car accident Friday morning at around 2am, reports Us Weekly.

Michele, 24, was on her way home from work where she was hit by a car on Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles. The drivers of the car that hit Michele, described as “drunk girls,” reportedly “got out of the car, giggled that she was famous, said something like 'are you drunk, too?' Then they drove off."

Michele took down the license plate and alerted authorities.
"Lea was hit and notified the police," says Michele’s rep. "She was not injured and is fine."

I love this part of the report though:
This isn’t Michele’s first car accident. She got in a wreck while on her way to audition for Glee, where she was left with cuts and bruises.

"For my second audition I got into a massive car wreck, left my crashed car in the street and ran into the audition with cuts and glass in my hair," she said. "And then on the final audition, I had the worst neck ache from the car accident."

Michele found a bit of humor in her first wreck, she reportedly said "I hear you have to crash your car once in California before you can be initiated as a true L.A. resident," Michele once said. "So for me, I don’t consider it a problem. I consider it, 'Okay, good! Got that out of the way. Now I live here.'”
