They're both great performers, and although Bey's vocals and dancing outshine Gaga's, Gaga goes that extra mile and really shocks the viewer, where as Bey just executes a pretty boring typical performance very well.
Take their performances at the 2009 VMA's, for example.
Bey was up their with a bunch of backup dancers, killin the choreography, singing well..but that was it. the whole thing was just rows of dancers doing the same dance we'd seen in the Single Ladies video.
Where as Gaga got up there, switched up the vocals, rolled down the stage in a goddamn whellchair, played the **** out of that piano, then started bleeding out of the blue and ended her performance danling dead in mid-air.
I guess it depends on your taste but personally I prefer to be shocked and intruiged over being pleased.
Gaga is only okay on the record.
