Barely been on the scene and young rising star Rebecca Black has already made more impact than Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Michael Jackson. Her debut single, 'Friday' has been described by many critics as the "anthem of the generation."
RS: What is 'Friday' about?
RB: Friday is an anthem. I wanted to make a song that made people feel better. People are so stressed out about Japan, Libya, and Gas Prices that I think they forget that the weekend even exists. It's also anthem for the gays and feeling good about yourself and that everything is going to be ok--especially if it's Friday.
RS: What do you say to your haters?
RB: You know, haters will hate but there is nothing I can do about them. I have tons of amazing fans that I know will support me.
RS: What do you do on Friday nights?
RB: Friday is the perfect single to release because it's so personal to me. It's just like any other teenager: I eat my cereal, get in the convertible and go driving down the highway to dance and go out.
RS: Front Seat or Back seat?
RB: I don't know![Laughs]. It's just one of those things I gotta figure out when I get older I guess.

So freakin' inspirational our faves could never. The gays love you too Rebecca.
