Four-time Academy Award nominee Julianne Moore will play Sarah Palin in an HBO movie. The Wrap reports that Moore will play the former Alaska governor in an adaptation of John Heilemann and Mark Halperin’s best-selling book GAME CHANGE, about the inner workings of the John McCain and Barack Obama presidential campaigns.
The book is separated into three parts: the first section examines the Democratic primaries, the second delves into the Republican race, and the final chapters focus on the Obama-McCain general election campaign. The roles of Barack Obama, John McCain, and Hilary Clinton have yet to be cast for the film.

I wasn't discrediting Moore's filmography as an actress. It's obvious she's a stellar performer on the screen and will soon win her very own Oscar, I can imagine.

But for the role of Sarah Palin...

Maybe for a comedic, 5-minute SNL skit. This doesn't sound like they're aiming for parody/caricature.
