I think it's time to start a thread, because she started to work on it.
Guy Oseary her manager told:
most of the music madonna is liking for new album are from all unknown producers. from what she played me, the tracks sound amazing
On February 24th, she was in a recording studio.
She's coming, maybe this year's winter.
Madonna is great and everything, a true legend in her own right. But she has to stop. It's enough. I don't wanna hear a 50+ year old woman singing about her "Candy Shop" nor do I want to see her wildly gyrating her pelvis on stage.

She either needs to tone it down or change genre.
I am so conflicted! On one hand, I don't really care about the age of the person singing because good music is good music. And Madonna still knows how to seriously smash a dance song.
But on the other hand, I was really really wanting a change in genre/reinvention. She is so talented and is such a chameleon, that I am ready for her to rule another genre and really surprise us. I kind of want her to leave the disco for something more low-key and exciting.
But of course, she is my Queen and I will love anything she puts out as I always have!
She doesn't have to stop doing dance songs. Cher was 52 too when she released "Believe", and it was a massive hit worldwide. I agree about the gyrating though. She still has a very nice body despite her age, but she's too old to be acting sexy. I'm ready for more Adult Contemporary from her, a la Live To Tell or Crazy For You, and then actually release them as singles.

She's great, no doubt. But this genre isn't working for her anymore. I admit that I do shamelessly sing along to her songs.
She's always been good at re-inventing herself so I don't see why she wouldn't. Two dance albums like Confessions on a Dancefloor and Hard Candy are more than enough.
I stand by my "wildly gyrating her pelvis" statement though. Great body or not, her hands are horrifying
