Will.I.Am has been drafted in to give Cheryl Cole’s Messy Little Raindrops album a more American feel.
Universal, the Promise This singer’s record label, wants the album overhauled before it is released in the United States in the summer. The Black Eyed Peas frontman, who produced tracks on both of Cheryl’s UK releases, has been instructed to give the album a more urban vibe.
A source said: "The record company are really keen to spice up a few of the songs and get some remixes on the album. Will is going to work his magic by giving the tracks more of an R&B feel as he knows that's what will sell."
mixing the two albums together is enough for one great album, but she also needs to record a new song or two to make her name in America, cos non of her current tracks are strong enough for the US

Keep Promise This, Yeah Yeah, The Flood, Waiting, Happy Tears, Fight For This Love, and Parachute. A lot of people I know actually like Parachute a lot over here in the US.

FRICKIN THIS!!! Fight for this love and parachute would both do pretty well in the US, they have a better chance of making the top 10 then any song from her new album does.

that's sadly true, non of her songs on MLR is strong enough to become a Top 10 hit in the US, maybe just maybe Promise This with big X Facotr performance and multiple promotional stops!!
