Lady GaGa has threatened to sue the British makers of Baby Gaga ice cream unless they change the name.
The controversial breast milk ice cream was the brainchild of Icecreamists parlour in Covent Garden, who made the dessert by combining donated breast milk with vanilla pods and lemon zest.
But the Born This Way star’s lawyers have penned a harshly-worded letter to the store, claiming they have "ridden the coattails of her reputation" by using the name Baby Gaga.
Icecreamists owner Matt O'Connor defended his use of the term in an interview with The Guardian, and said he felt like he was "wielding two spoons engaged in hand-to-hand combat".
"A global superstar has taken umbrage at what she describes as a 'nausea-inducing' product. This from a woman with a penchant for wearing rotting cows' flesh,” he said of the singer’s controversial meat dress. “At least our customers are still alive when they contribute to our 'art'.
“How can she possibly claim ownership of the word 'gaga', which since the dawn of time has been one of the first discernable phrases to come from a baby's mouth?”
Lady GaGa will be pleased to hear that Westminster Council has now confiscated all stocks of the breast milk ice cream amid fears that it didn’t meet hygiene requirements.

Lady Gaga has threatened the makers of a controversial breast milk ice cream with legal action.
The 'Born This Way' singer is apparently unhappy that the Icecreamists parlour in London's Covent Garden has called the frozen treat 'Baby Gaga'.
She wants the shop to stop selling the ice cream - despite the fact Westminster Council pulled it from the shelves over health fears last week.
Icecreamists owner Matt O'Connor told The Guardian that a letter from Lady Gaga's lawyers argued that his outlet has "ridden the coattails of her reputation".
"A global superstar has taken umbrage at what she describes as a 'nausea-inducing' product," he said.
"How can she possibly claim ownership of the word 'gaga', which since the dawn of time has been one of the first discernable phrases to come from a baby's mouth?"
O'Connor went on to make reference to Lady Gaga's previous food-based controversy, when she infamously wore a meat dress at last year's MTV Video Music Awards.
"This from a woman with a penchant for wearing rotting cows' flesh. At least our customers are still alive when they contribute to our 'art'," he said.
Oh,, and they think anyone wants to buy that ice cream, especially with a promo pic like that? And yes it's a bit a kind of pathetic to use a person who looks like GaGa on the pic, so that's why she's sueing right?
If they are using Gaga look-a-likes to sell it, then she must sue for that, and not for the name... Cause if she sues for the name it's gonna be the most ridiculous thing to EVER happen.
I would guess the reason she is suing over the name is because 'Gaga' + the impersonators is implying it's in some way linked to her. It's the combination of both, I doubt she'd be able to do anything if it were just one or the other.

And still she wont get a legal action. The sue isn't going to help ... i think.
