Lady GaGa on Christina: "She's so wonderful & so talented"
Lady GaGa was interviewed on the Morning Mash Up and talked about many different things including Born This Way, Madonna comparisons, Grammy performance/outfits, tattoos, as well as Christina Aguilera's mishap at the Super Bowl.

Q: I heard that you talked to Madonna and she sent you lots of love because people are making comparisons with "Born This Way" and "Express Yourself" or just you and Madonna in general, what do you have to say about that?
A: I did receive an e-mail on behalf of her and her team wishing me all their love and support that they're all great with the song. They sent lots of love to me so that was wonderful. I'm sure you can imagine, Madonna is the most amazing woman on the earth and I'm the biggest most adoring and loving fan. I just appreciate her support.
Q: Besides your Grammy performance, who was your favorite?
A: Oh I loved Cee Lo and Gwyneth, they were so wonderful, we were dancing. And Mick Jagger was just insane and so amazing to watch. I loved the Aretha Franklin tribute, I thought Christina sounded amazing and Jennifer Hudson sounded so amazing and I love Florence and Yolanda, it was just a really amazing night.
Q: So I don't know if you were joking or not, but how long were you actually in the egg at the Grammy's?
A: I was in it for 3 days, 72 hours. I'm not going to explain the details [on how she ate and went to the bathroom], I'm a lady.
Q: Were you trying to make some sort of statement with this song? The statement that I got was that you wanted to rule the gay clubs after Madonna/Cher.
A: It's not about ruling certainly, the song is a message of love and positivity. Of course the inspiration for the song came from MANY songs from the early 90s, the sort of the gospel/R&B/pop era of Madonna, TLC, En Vogue, Whitney Houston, so I was listening to a lot of that music. I said, this spirit and this empowerment that women embodied in this era is something that is long gone and I want to bring it back. I want to bring it back and I want it to become the future. I wanted to create something so joyful, a song bigger than me. It could be sung by anyone, it's not just a "GaGa record," it could be sung by so many people.
Q: What are you doing, is there an diet, are you exercising like crazy?
A: I'm on the drunk diet. DrunkDiet.com. I live my life and I want to creatively, drink whiskey while I'm working. But the deal is I gotta work out every day and I work out hungover if I'm hungover and it's about cross training and keeping yourself inspired. I do a ton of yoga and I actually trained intensely in modern dance. I've been really working very hard. I want to perfect singing live while dancing, I've never been a lip-syncher, and I don't intend on it.
Q: Do you see yourself in movies? Who would you want to play Lady GaGa?
A: I think at some point yes, I'm sort of destined for that screen at some point. I've always been a really big fan of Rosario Dawson, oh you know what, I'd have Marisa Tomei play me. I'm such a Marisa Tomei fan. All of my friends call me Marisa when I get angry because my New York accent flies out of my body.
Q: You do seem to have some of the most die hard fans, have you seen any crazy tats of yourself?
A: A lot of my fans have tattoos of me, on the day that "Born This Way" came out, one of my friends Becca, a tattoo artist in New York, was texting me all day "today is your day." She sent me all of these camera phone pictures coming in to get Born This Way tattooed on them and it was a very intense day for me. I'm going to wait [for my next tattoo].
Q: Do you think people were too tough on Christina after her little Super Bowl mishap?
A: Everyone's too tough on everyone, she's so wonderful and so talented. I think we're in this stage in the industry where everyone is very analytical and very hard on everyone. "Born This Way" is about no judgement and no prejudice and my fans are like that, the monsters are like that. Really happy young people, I encourage everyone to be like that because tt's a waste of time with all of that negative energy, just be positive and love music and watch the Grammy's and love it and enjoy.

She's so classy. After all of X's shades, she chooses the high road.

That was really mature and very nice of GaGa. I love that she doesn't buy into the negative media attention they have going on with both women going against each other.

GaGa doesn't need to drag anyone, her STAN BASE does it for her. ATRL as example.

You should have listened to Christina's radio interviews she gave during the Bionic promo, she showed nothing but respect for these younger women (including Gaga) who go against the norm, just like Christina has done in her career.
