Do stans affect your opinion on certain artist?

In a way. A lot of the Gaga stans make me wish I wasn't a Gaga fan myself, but it wouldn't change my actual music preference.

It really depends on who the stan is I am talking to, some stans have common sense while others are just a little bit crazy in that department.

There are examples for every artist, but it's a big load of crap and you should not let anyone influence what you like or be afraid of expressing your taste.

It depends.
If I am not crazy about an artist, and a stan group is annoying, I start to not like the artist, since I never really cared that much for them in the first place.

I will always love Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Fergie (& the Black Eyed Peas), and Nicki Minaj and no stan group will change that.

Any artist not listed means I'm on the fence, and anything could change my opinion of them.

To an extent, yes. Stans are part of the reason I don't like Lady Gaga and don't stan for her anymore. But then again, every stanbase has both good and bad stans. I don't think people should let a couple of people ruin their views on an artist.

Not really. A lot of Britney stans are delusional and obnoxious as ****, but I still like her. She's not responsible for them.

What does the question actually mean? Like, would you stop listening to an artist, or just not like the artist themself? What I meant by my post was, A lot of Gaga stans can be irritating and make me wish i wasnt a fan, but i wouldnt stop listening to her. I have gone off her as an artist because of the things she does now, nothing to do with her stans

The best Stan is someone who knows the artist they stan for isnt perfect.
