I've seen a thread like this for movies & albums... so I figuried I start one for books. What was the last book you read and give a short review on it. You can also discuss the books your currently reading as well.
I'll start:
I'm in the middle of reading Stephen King's Under the Dome. I'm enjoying it so far. It's about a town in Maine being isolated under a giant dome, and panic and mayhem insue's within the town. It's very typical SK, and if you have enjoyed any of his books, you like this one. It's a monster though, clocking in at just over 1000 pages.
Currently reading Madame Bovary by Flaubert. I'm in the middle, but work has been pretty busy lately so I haven't been able to move on for a couple of weeks now. I'm really enjoying it though. Its considered a classic and flows nicely. Addresses issues like depression, infidelity, lust, lost love, boredom and various other emotions/conditions. Gives an interesting outlook on human nature, especially of women.
