ABC Family picks up Raven Symone's new show + 2 other shows
ABC Family is seeking more ways to help dominate prime time TV and they have ordered a show that has former Disney star Raven Symone in it. ABC Family has orderedThe Great State of Georgia, which will have Raven playing the title role and will also star Majandra Delfino as Raven’s BFF. Raven and her friend move to NYC in ordered to gain her dream career. No word on when the show will premier, but they also order two other new series along with Raven’s new show.
The other two shows are called Switched at Birth, and Nine Lives of Chloe King. Switched at Birth will have Lucas Grabeel, Constance Marie and Vanessa Marano as a few of the stars for a show based about two girls who were switched at birth. Nine Lives of Chloe King is about a girl who is part of a secret race and must help her own people to survive. It will star Skyler Samuels, Grey Damon, Dan Berendsen and Leslie Morgenstein.
I have to say they have an amazing line up already and I hope they will release more info soon on these 3 shows. I have to say that I do wonder though if Nine Lives of Chloe King should be considered a family show? The description doesn’t really make it sound that way. However, I guess we will have to wait and see if it is better than how it sounds.

Glad to see Raven has found work, she's very talented and it's a shame she can't seem to find better roles suited for her. It's the Disney curse, all the girls seem to be having the same issue finding work and trying to stay relevant, but glad to see Raven was able to score a TV deal. I would love to see Raven be in a show like "The Game"
