What began as an argument about leaves between neighbors resulted in a racist rant that's gone viral.
In a video recorded by Las Vegas resident Dexter Manawat on New Year's Eve, an unidentified woman is heard calling Manawat and his "people" "orange savages."
The woman also refers to Manawat, who is of Filipino descent, as a "piece of s— Manila-a— f—ing ghetto living under a tarp piece of s—-land." She also tells Manawat he's "too busy populating the world with more of your trashy people."
"If it weren't for Teddy Roosevelt needing a f—ing port in the Philippines, you'd be speaking Chinese or Russian now," she adds.
The woman told KTNV that she was sorry for her words against Manawat and the Filipino community. "I stooped to the lowest possible denominator to hurt someone because I was angry," she said.
Oh my gosh, how disgusting. Seems to me like she was holding all that racist **** deep down and just exploded it all out.
Oh well at her getting put on blast, she can say it's not cause she got caught all she wants but her rant wasn't just one insult but multiple racist ones.
Not shocking. I work for a call center and it is partnered with call centers in the Phillipines. The white people always cut up when transferred to them, saying that they can't understand them (they do tend to have strong accents), think they're from India () and always call them nasty names.
People are so angry and have to use groups of people as a scapegoat so much...its so extra. I was told that everything you need to know about a person is shown by how low they go when they are angry. Like if a friend reads your ass for filth and takes low jabs too, they've had those thoughts before. So that apology...

What does the US establishing a port in the Philippines have to do with keeping us from "speaking Chinese or Russian"? China never established a colonial empire outside of its current territory. Even at the height of communism, it never attempted to invade its neighbouring Asian countries. And the Philippines is an island nation that is 3,400 miles away from Soviet invasion. There are Chinese speakers in the Philippines but they are only concentrated within the Chinese-Filipino community in Manila.
