wear/use something that looks amazing but is either uncomfortable, painful and/or nonfunctional (fashion)

wear/use something that is comfortable and functions excellently but isn't the most appealing to the eye (function)?
I gotta say the first one - BUT I always feel mor comfortable with things that look good.
I'm trying to mix these things. But I can't imagine clothes could hurt me ?

I voted for fashion. Just today I was wearing these new boots I bought. I love how they look but they didn't keep my feet very warm and rain was seeping in . I'll wear them again though

Im a boy so I wasn't thinking about tight shoes first way. ^^
But I had shoes that were a little too small for me and I still wore them because they looked so hot.
And my shoes never keep me warm.

The function of clothing is to protect us from the elements. From the moment it became more than that, it turned to fashion. So while function is still a part of it, everything we wear is also about fashion.

Fashion, i remember I have these shoes from 2 years ago that don't fit but "Crisco and some fishing line, and we're in business" They were orange converse and i couldn't find them anywhere anymore so....
Also the climate here in the middle east is hot as hell. Yet i still wear my Danier black leather jacket
. I'll wear them again though
