I used to be just like you before I moved out of my aunt's. I also used to think that my teenage years were wasted but now I have my own world and freedom and I'm turning just 20 this year so don't worry, we're still young and we still have a lot of time to have fun and more than that.
But study is priority, I'm taking first year Accounting at college and I'm still unware of this program since I don't like it either. As far I have known, some people pay money to do post-secondary, some may even finish the program that they chose but they couldn't find a job or barely got to know anything about what they study after all (some lucky case that they get a job thru relationships and stuff).
Just keep doing what you're doing, as long as you're not giving up with these unused potential chances left to make it better, you'll be fine. Goodluck!
