Out of the options, based on skill as a performer, Jennifer; based on current position in the industry and music, Rihanna.

I would like to see a rapper headline solo for the first time tho. Something different; the pop girls have been overdone over the last few years at this point.

Taylor, and especially Britney, are unqualified. Having said that, Katy performed once

yet it was the most viewed and one of the most remembered

JLo and Britney are the only good performers out of those (Mariah used to be but her vocals nowadays...)

Majority, if not all, performances at the Superbowl aren't remembered. All you have to do is get a bunch of nice props, a few explosions on a cute stage, ask peer and an older artist to join you, and then you all lip-sync to 100 million+ Americans. That's the Superbowl halftime show.

Rihanna maybe? She's coasting off some pretty good hits. Someone like Taylor would be good in a couple years after the semi recent overexposure and drama blows over, and I'm sure she'll be around for a while.
