As a consumer you shouldn't be bothered. More music consumption is good for you. Love music, no?
It's like Americans who visit Whole Foods to purchase organic produce that has travelled from Chile to New York. They're branded as a market that saves energy yet doesn't use local resources. More like save money.
It's a white lie which benefits the company rather than the customer. Do they know any different? Do they care? It's unlikely.
