This sounds interesting, I'll check it out.

This is a good book. He makes great points in it.

Christopher Hitchens is a legend. I would love to know what he'd make of the world today. Check out his stuff on YouTube as well.

Definitely not

Most of these antitheist books are published only to milk a quick buck out of popular misconceptions of religion. They are not serious work of scholarship and are for entertainment purposes only.

However, this wouldn't be the case.

It's a great book. You should def read it. Loved every page of it

Is it as good as THE GOD DELUSION by King Richard Hawkins? If so then yes.

Some things all Christians should ask themselves:

1. Why are some of humanity's darkest acts fueled in some why by the church? The crusades, colonization under the guise of evangelism, ku klux klan, slavery, etc.?
2. Why does the church re-enforce a caste system and work within it?
3. Why do christians pick and choose what parts of the bible they follow on a large scale?

Mess at this.

Christopher Hitchens was more than capable of 'work of scholarship'.

But the man made Bible exists. The irony.

I was reading at Starbucks the other day and there were these two women going on about seeing angels and talking about people who they know who have supposedly seen angels. One said ' I haven't read a book in over 20 years. Well except the bible, of course.' The other replied 'yes same here, just the bible, I think it's been longer than that for me'

I did read The God Delusion by legend Dawkins, it was an awesome book
