Billie Lourd takes custody of Gary Fisher.

The "Star Wars" icon's French bulldog, Gary, was like a child to the actress, often accompanying her to interviews and on the red carpet.
The 4-year-old pooch will now be handed over to Fisher's 24-year-old daughter, actress Billie Lourd, TMZ reports.
Billie granted her mom's wish and will take care of Gary Fisher, the most iconic dog ever. I'll miss his and Carries interviews.

He went everywhere with Carrie. You know all these stories about pets not wanting to leave their owners' side after they passed away? I constantly imagine Gary by Carrie's side even now and mourning her just like Billie and Debbie are.
