More attention goes to one video so it has rewatching power. I haven't rewatched any of Bey's newer videos because all of them sort of drag since she considered it as a whole body of work
I guess it just depends on a person's patience and whether they're a stan of that artist already or not, because if I was a Beyonce stan I definitely would have rewatched it a million times
BEYONCÉ had several themes running through it and it was cut into several narratives, so the videos reflected that. Lemonade is one single narrative so it makes sense that she turned it into an hour long film.
Most of the videos on Lemonade do not stand up well when you view them alone. While it's cool to have a cohesive theme for an entire era, I don't think anyone has yet to wow me with an overarching visual era (don't @ me, Pink Floyd stans).
ST, but if the songs were really written for such long form music video then Lemonade
for example: Fairy Dust worked great with long form music video but Drake's visual album didn't
