Yeah, definitely. Otherwise we would have gotten the rushed release of Joyride and Superlove/Company wouldn't exist. It would have dropped last November or in January and the tracklist would have looked something like this:

Plus some other songs that are probably still being saved for Joyride or got scrapped all together. Probably would have flopped since its a mix of two different vibes and RCA would have screwed her over somehow anyways, so Player tanking was probably for the best. Nightride probably would have been free and released randomly too
