If you look at the writing credits of her albums, Britney and Britney Jean have her listed as a writer on almost every single one of the songs, but on all the other albums y'all love and praise most of the songs dont even have a single credit by her

personally, i love the album Britney and i feel like it shows her true colors (especially lyric-wise) the most even if its not perfect imo thats what makes me love it more!

she wasn't lying when BJ was ha most personal

the britney album was her moment of personal freedom as the labels transferred her image from schoolgirl hunty to her more sexual ITZ image (i feel like that also cause for some reason all the remix albums were released around then, were they trying to remix ha image?)

BJ maybe has more writing credits but there's absolutely nothing related to her or her life other than a couple songs.

Britney is my fourth favorite Britney album personally and Britney Jean is my least favorite. I don't think credits = personal % or whatever. Britney Jean wasn't very personal at all besides like that song with Jamie Lynn.

She wrote more for In The Zone.

i feel like its cause when the albums have really snatching production (glory, in the zone, blackout), the producers dont let her write as much. but albums like BJ are one of the worst produced albums ive heard but they probably could have been saved cause the lyrics aren't THAT bad. her management just over controls her and makes bad moves some times because of it i feel like

I feel ITZ more personal than any of the other albums.

I don't understand what's not personal about NTIFY, Alien, WB, Perfume, Passenger, Don't Cry, Hold On Tight, BMS, Chillin etc etc...?

Like she very clearly threw in some parts after it was all done in a camp and she didn't even bother to match the rhyme schemes

It's very clear they had a precise date set and were forcing her through the motions. She got sick during the recording (mentioned in I Am Britney Jean) and either her vocal takes were bad or she didn't even get to finish recording, but they got Myah Marie to fill in. The latter is most likely true since we haven't even had Britney's vocal takes for certain songs leak yet

This is the one time the Conservatorship has really screwed the fans over. She couldn't really do anything about it due to the constraints of her contract. Luckily BJ flopped hard and her team took a step back and gave her as much time as she wanted for Glory.

I honestly think her team gave her writing credits on songs to push the ~personal~ narrative. She probably couldn't care less but her team wanted to market the album that way....why, I have no idea.

I don't think the credits on BJ are really legitimate outside of a few. We know they had a field day with the vocal credits so writing credits isn't out of the question. BJ is Will.i.am.'s project that she just got sucked into

The Britney Jean credits are not reliable in the slightest. I don't think she contributed to anything outside of Brightest Morning Star and Perfume.

Blackout is by far her rawest and most personal album.
