Because in high school i had this teacher who has the voice of a NPR host, and once when we went on a class trip he said "it's great to have everyone at the table" and he put a lot of emphasis on table, and it triggered me SO much
It doesn't help that I once heard a girl on the bus literally say, "yeah, but the situation with that situation was that it was all caught up in that other situation."
