Personally I can see the draw for all of those franchises really, like the appeal to certain groups of people is pretty high.
I guess I've always been surprised Star Trek did so well seeing as it's like a lesser version of Star Wars.
Can't really think of others. Maybe Doctor Who, does that class as a franchise? I used to love it and I think it's great, but I never realised it was so HUGE. Like the fans rival fanbases such as directioners. It's good but I didn't ever realise it was that good.
I'm still shook when they make Ice Age movies because it's a reminder that it still makes enough money to warrant another film yet you hardly hear about it or see any merchandise for it.
100% Twilight. ngl, I was a huge fan of it when I was younger (Team Edward all day and if you feeling some type of way we can throw hands!) but I went back to watch the movies now that I'm older and it was disastrous from start to finish. Even the cast hated it. Nobody tried bc they knew it would be successful. I mean this scene...
