Bob Mile was waiting on a bench by himself in the cold Saturday, waiting for the Lexington Old Fashioned Christmas Horse Parade to start.
"The rest of them are sitting in the truck," the Lakeport resident said, holding down places for himself and his wife, Lisa.
He said he saw notice of the parade on Facebook and decided to come check it out.
"It was pretty cool the last time we came," he said.
It was pretty cold Saturday in Lexington with a parade time temperature of about 26 degrees. That didn't stop hundreds of people from lining the streets to listen to the clip-clop and jingle bells of horses in their holiday finery.
With a light snow falling, the parade looked like a scene out of a Hallmark Channel movie.
Norissa Burroughs, a volunteer at the Lexington Welcome Center, said the horse parade helps the town get into the holiday spirit.
